Amit Tellapaneni is a student at the Mont’Kiara International School in Kuala Lumpur, where he is currently studying Math, Integrated Science, Software Design Technology, Individuals and Societies, Mandarin, and English. Amit is passionate about sustainability and engineering, and hopes to work on bridging environmental innovation with urban solutions in the future. Beyond the classroom, his academic engagement extends to the school’s Math and Business clubs, where he is honing key skills for his goal of studying engineering. He will be building upon this through Duke Pre-College’s ‘Research Methods in Science and Engineering’ program this summer. 

Apart from his intellectual pursuits, Amit also enjoys participating in MUNs and is an avid percussionist in the school band, where he plays a variety of instruments including drums, mallet, and other percussion.
